Teen Wheel Throwing – for teens only!- Beginner/Intermediate – 2 Hour Classes

Class Length: 8 weeks, 6:30pm – 8:30pm each Monday

Class Description: A basic intro to wheel throwing for teens 13 and over. We’ll cover the foundations of wheel work, including wedging, centering clay, forming cylinders, trimming, pulling handles, surface development, and glazing techniques. NO exceptions to 13 year age minimum – kids must be 13 years old before the class start date. Why? Our studio wheels are powerful and kids (and adults) need sufficient strength to learn on them.

Age Limitations: Ages 13 – 16

Supplies Included: Tuition covers communal clay, use of studio glazes, all firings, and use of communal tools and equipment.

Additional Supplies: Basic Ceramic tool kit available for purchase at the store for $30- We encourage all students to purchase this kit during our open hours, prior to the first day of class.
