Class Description: This Private event has already been set up for a very special group, but if you are interested in booking your own private event at the Corgi Clay Art Center, here’s what you need to know!

Workshop must be at least 2 hours.

Cost is per participant and comes to $65/person and covers the following:

Instruction
- Use of CCAC equipment/facilities
- Individual potters tools to use
- Clay
- Two firings (Bisque and glaze)

Full payment is due at booking.

Booking should be done 3-4 weeks in advance of desired date.
- Refunds are only given if notified one week in advance.
- Projects can be picked up usually 2-3 weeks after workshop date.

Projects can be either hand-building or wheel-throwing BUT kids must be 13 years old to use potters’ wheels.

Hand-building projects are made by coil / slab/ pinch and could include sculptural or functional designs.

Throwing projects are created using the Potters Wheels and projects are less guided to making a specific design and more about learning how to use the potter’s wheel. In these workshops we see many people walk away with small cups, bowls and saucers, but the end result is really based on how fast you can pick up the skill. Again, this wouldn’t be available for people under 13 years old.

Students will not be glazing their work.

If it’s adults, we ask then to pick a glaze for us to apply for them.

If it’s a kid’s group, we give them underglazes to use, then we glaze a clear on top of the work for them.
Availability depends on what day and time you are looking for. Generally daytime, during the week is open, and in some occasions after school hours during the week. Weekends availability changes frequently.
