Ceramics Foundations – Beginners-3 Hour Classes

Class Length: 6 weeks, meets 10am – 1pm each Monday, beginning June 2nd
Tuition: $220 (+ $60 materials fee)

Class Description: Wheel throwing and hand-building for beginners and clay newbies. You’ll cover the foundations of making ceramics including wheel-throwing and hand-building pottery, decorating, and glazing your own work. Extra time is spent building foundational skills like centering and trimming and building confidence working in a community ceramics studio.

Age Limitations: Ages 16 & Up

Supplies Included: Tuition covers 25 lbs of clay, use of studio glazes, all firings, and use of communal tools and equipment.

Additional Supplies: Basic Ceramic tool kit available for purchase at the store for $30- We recommend you purchase prior to day one of class!
