Class Length: One Day, meets 10am – 1pm on Saturday, July 26th
Tuition: $70 (+$15/materials)

Class Description: Discover the art of sculptural storytelling through tile relief! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of creating dimensional designs on clay tiles, using techniques like carving, texturing, and additive sculpting. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll explore how to transform a flat surface into a dynamic composition that captures depth, movement, and narrative. From botanical motifs to abstract patterns or personal symbols, you’ll design and craft your own unique tile relief ready for display or installation. Perfect for beginners, hobbyists, and artists looking to expand their sculptural skills. No prior clay experience needed — just bring your creativity!

Age Limitations: Ages 16 & Up

Supplies Included: Tuition covers all clay, and firings, and use of communal tools and equipment.

Additional Supplies: You will need your own basic ceramic tool kit, available for purchase at the center for $30.
