Class Length: 8 weeks, meets 10am – 1pm each Wednesday
Class Description: In this beginner level sculpting class, students will learn the basics of hand-building in clay while creating their very own animal-like or human-like sculptural forms. Emphasis will be given to modeling and pinching construction methods. This is a great class for those new to clay and interested in more sculptural techniques but also those with basic hand-building skills interested in making animal-like or human-like forms.
Age Limitations: Ages 16 & Up
Supplies Included: Tuition covers 25 lbs of clay, use of studio glazes, all firings, and use of communal tools and equipment.
Additional Supplies: Students should purchase a basic ceramic tool kit, available for purchase at the store for $30- We recommend you purchase prior to day one of class!
