Pottery Throwdown Event!

Description

Event Length: 6pm – whenever the fun stops! Participants must check-in by 5:30pm to set up their potter’s wheel and prep their clay.
Cost: $10 to participate – helps cover snacks and materials. Only those participating in the actual throwdown need to register. All others may come and watch the fun for free! Tell your friends and family!

Class Description: Are you ready to test your wheel skills, get a little muddy, and have a whole lot of fun? Join us for a high-energy Pottery Throwdown — a fast-paced, wheel-throwing competition where potters of all levels come to spin, shape, and shine! Music, snacks, pottery puns, and a cheering crowd guaranteed. Bring your tools, your A-game, and your clay face. Let the mud fly!

Age Limitations: 16+ to participate

Supplies Included: If you have clay to use, please bring it, otherwise we will provide. Participants should bring their own tools, apron, hand towel.

Judges: Will rotate!

Participant Limit: 12

Special Notes: Not meant to be a “stiff competition”, rather a fun, friendly, game of clay madness. Bring some snacks, and a good attitude. Pieces will not be fired so you are welcome to bring your own clay or use reclaimed clay.
