May the Force be with you: Beginning Wheel Throwing- 3 hour Classes

Class Length: 8 weeks, meets 10am- 1pm each Saturday

Class Description: This class will take you from not knowing anything (or a little something) about ceramics and the potters wheel to someone who is capable of harnessing centrifugal force to complete the basic steps of wheel throwing in order to create functional or sculptural forms starting with cylinders and working our way into cups, mugs, bowls and beyond. A great class for beginners or beginners on their way to intermediate!

Age Limitations: Ages 16 & Up

Supplies Included: Tuition covers 25 lbs of clay, use of studio glazes, all firings, and use of communal tools and equipment.

Additional Supplies: You will need your own basic ceramic tool kit, available for purchase at the center for $30.
