Class Description: Discover the timeless art of sculpting with clay in this hands-on, beginner-friendly class. Whether you’re new to sculpture or looking to refine your skills, this course invites you to explore the creative possibilities of shaping, molding, and texturing clay. Students will learn foundational techniques including hand-building, slab construction, and basic carving, with guided projects designed to build confidence and creativity. Along the way, we’ll cover essential concepts in form, balance, and surface design. By the end of the class, participants will complete their own original sculpture — from initial concept sketches to a finished, kiln-fired piece. All materials and tools are provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
