Class Length: 8 weeks, meets 10am – 1pm each Tuesday, beginning September 8th
Tuition: $240 (+ $65 materials fee)
Class Description: Have you always wanted to attend a class where you get to focus on just learning great pottery wheel techniques? You want the time to dedicate to practicing and improving your skills. This class is the perfect introduction to the fundamentals of working with clay on the wheel. Designed for both the complete beginner or the student who has taken a potters wheel class a few times, but still needs that hands-on attention, this course will guide students step-by-step through the essential techniques needed to create their first functional pottery. By the end of the course, participants will have a strong foundation in wheel throwing and several handmade ceramic pieces. Come ready to get a little muddy, learn a lot, and discover the joy of making pottery!
Age Limitations: Ages 16 & Up
Supplies Included: Tuition covers 25 lbs of clay, use of studio glazes, all firings, and use of communal tools and equipment.
Additional Supplies: Basic Ceramic tool kit available for purchase at the store for $30- We recommend you purchase prior to day one of class!
