Step into the world of clay as a canvas for your imagination. This 5-week hand building course invites both beginners and returning makers to explore the expressive side of ceramics in a relaxed, creative environment. We’ll cover essential techniques like pinch, coil, and slab building—not just as skills, but as tools for storytelling, texture, and form. You’ll learn how to bring your ideas to life through organic shapes, layered surfaces, and thoughtful details, all while discovering your personal voice in clay. This class balances guided projects with space for your own creative exploration. Whether you want to make functional pottery, sculptural pieces, or something in-between, you’ll find inspiration and support at every step.

Age Limitations: Ages 16 & Up

Supplies Included: Tuition covers 25 lbs of clay, use of studio glazes, all firings, and use of communal tools and equipment.

Additional Supplies: Basic Ceramic tool kit available for purchase at our art center for $30
