Class Description: Discover the expressive possibilities of colored slips in this focused, three-hour, hands-on workshop. Designed for beginners and experienced makers alike, this session will guide you through mixing, applying, and layering colored slips to create vibrant surfaces on your ceramic work. You’ll learn essential techniques—including brushing, trailing, sgraffito, and simple resist methods—while experimenting on practice tiles and small forms. By the end, you’ll leave with a set of beautifully decorated pieces and the confidence to incorporate slip work into your own ceramic practice. All materials included; just bring your creativity!
Age Limitations: Ages 16-Adult
Supplies Included: Covers clay tiles and pre-made slips. Students will be emailed the Sunday prior with a suggested materials list to bring.
